Get ready to start your weeks in 2016 with something to talk about!
The Natchez Tricentennial is sponsoring a weekly series of speakers on Monday nights at 5:30 p.m. to share the rich and diverse stories of this historic city.
There is no cost to the host site other than offering something to drink, unless the host would like to provide other options free of charge or for a fee to guests.
There will be 46 talks, eight of which will host the Road Scholars. Dates when Natchez Legends & Lore will not be held in 2016 are January 18, May 30, July 4, September 5, and December 26.
Please fill out the application online or print the Natchez Legends & Lore site application and either email to email@example.com or bring to the Natchez Tricentennial Office at 640 S. Canal Street.
Host site applications will be accepted by mail, email, or hand delivery to the Tricentennial Office at the Natchez Visitor Center until November 13, 2015. Any applications received after this date and time will be returned to the sender. Agreements will be put in place by December 31, 2015. Notifications to venues not selected will be completed by December 31, 2015. The Ethnic and Social History Committee will maintain a calendar of all scheduled venues, and will confirm with each venue within 2 weeks of its first scheduled host date.
